Electrical Part for Forklifts

Forklift Electrical Part - Forklifts can be particularly labeled to be used in hazardous sites. A labeled lift truck denotes the design has met the lowest standards of ANSI/UL 558 used for engine powered lift trucks or ANSI/UL 583 intended for electric trucks for the type of label attached.

The application for labels meant for lift trucks could be found in National Fire Protection Association NFPA 505 - Powered Industrial trucks including: Areas or Use, Maintenance and Operation, and Type Designations. Check with your local insurance carrier and Fire Marshall for more information concerning the approved uses of industrial powered forklifts in your application.

If the particular lift truck satisfies the outlined criteria, labels may be attached. A labeled forklift would show the type of designation put on the nameplate and will have a properly corresponding label placed.
